Community advocacy for people with a learning difficulty
Community advocacy a non-statutory short-term issue-based service, which is a free and independent to the person.
This service is provided when statutory advocacy does not apply.
Eligibility:
• Bexley Resident
• Learning disability or autism
• Non-Statutory issue
Advocacy can help with
•
understanding information
• empower you to speak up on relevant issues
• help you to self advocate
• signposting to relevant services
This service cannot help with:
• Parenting
• Tribunals
• Court Work (Legal)
• Statutory advocacy
